He holds a diploma in graphics and launched his artistic career by directing several short films while attending the Youth Cinema Foundation classes in Rasht. He then went to Tehran and participated in the acting classes of Parviz...Read more Parastui. His debut was in Kamal Tabrizi's A Piece of Bread (2005), followed by Fireworks Wednesday (2006) and Barefoot in Paradise (2007). He continued his career directing short films such as Dandane Abi (2008) and his first feature film, Africa (2011). He then went on to direct films such as Sound and Fury (2016), Sheeple (2018), and World War III (2022).
