She is an American actress, born in New York. She obtained a BFA in acting from Syracuse University. She started her acting career in theatre before moving to the cinema. Her debut was in Slavery and the Making of America (2005). She is known for Dark Waters (2019), They/Them/Us (2021), and In the Radiant City (2016).
