An American actress, born in New York State. She is the daughter of Nenette Charisse, a ballet teacher, and Robert Tucker, a choreographer. She attended Princeton University and began her acting career in the 1970s on Broadway in productions such as My One and Only. Among her artistic works are the films The Sentinel (1977) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993).
