A German-Turkish singer and actress, born on August 14, 1956, in Ankara, Turkey. Her first success with classical Turkish music was in Turkey, after which she lived in Germany for a long time, becoming a member of the Türkischen Arbeiterchor Westberlin in the 1970s. She also studied singing and acting in Germany. In the mid-1980s, she was a singer for Kreuzberger Freunde, and in 1989, she founded a music group in Berlin with her husband Dieter Moritz. She is known for Peri Masali (2014).
