An Italian actress, born on May 14, 1921 in Rome, Italy. She was in a romantic relationship with writer Sergio Amedei in the 1940s. Among her notable works are Paisan (1946), Rome, Open City (1945), The Charterhouse of Parma (1948), and Last Tango in Paris (1972). She died on April 7, 1980 in Italy.
