An Iranian actor, born in 1952. He began his career in the theater, in which his first play was in 1969. He appeared in over 50 plays. In 1973, he was appointed General Director of Cultural and Artistic Affairs. He started acting in cinema and television in 1988. Among his credits are Doubt (2009), Shahr Ashoob (2005), and Prophet Joseph (2008).
