American actress born on 21 June 1921 in New York and grew up in the Bronx. She began her career in 1946. She appeared in several works including The Paradine Case (1947), Hell Below Zero (1954), The File on Thelma Jordon (1950), and Joy in the Morning (1965). She died of cancer and pneumonia on 31 October 1977 in Sussex, UK.
