Ibrahim Suleiman Haddad, known as Ibrahim Al Masry, was an Egyptian writer, born at the beginning of the twentieth century in Cairo, Egypt. He received his primary education in a French school, but he did not complete his education until the secondary education stage. He then worked in a bank, and then worked as a French language teacher, before he became a journalist in the thirties of the twentieth century in the newspaper Al-Balagh. He wrote many novels, such as The Cup of Life, Jealousy, and Bread of the Strongmen. He died on October 13, 1979.
