An American actress, director, and writer. She was born in Denton, Texas, and she went to the Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. She received her degree from Texas Christian University. She launched her acting career in A Letter from Death Row (1998) after providing her voice to Disney Aladdin: Iago Returns (1992). She is known for My Dog Skip (2000), Daddy and Them (2001), and The Importance of Blind Dating (2005). She also has unforgettable theatre roles at the Nashville Shakespeare Festival and the Hollywood Theatre.
