He has directed several works, including The Harbour (1989), The Silent Hunt (1990), Sarenakh (1996), and The Tales of Majid (1990), based on the novel of the same name by Iranian novelist Houshang Moradi Kermani, known for his novels for children and young adults. He has received several awards, including the Best Director Award at the 1996 Fajr Film Festival for his film The Double Lottie (1996).
