An American actor born in Brooklyn, on March 11, 1895. He received the 1951 Golden Laurel Award. He was married to Gertrude "Babe" Frank (1925-1955) and they had a child and she remained with him until his death. His most important works include: For Crimin' Out Loud (1956), Soup to Nuts (1930), Scrambled Brains (1951) and Merry Marericks (1951). He died in 1955 of a heart attack, at the age of 60.
