An American comedian born in Brooklyn, on June 19, 1897. He won a Golden Laurel Award in 1951 and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1983. He was married to the writer Helen Schouberger (1925-1975), and they had two children and remained with him until his death. Moe's most important works include: Scrambled Brains (1951), The Three Stooges Meet Hercules (1962), Punch Drunks (1934) and No Dough Boys (1944). He died due to his addiction to smoking and lung cancer, at the age of 78.
