British actor and producer, born on August 25, 1918, in Plymouth, England. He was educated at the Cardinal Vaughan School. His most famous works include: The Little Princess (1939), The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939), The Desert Hawk (1950), and The Castle of Fu Manchu (1969). He died on June 1, 1985, in England, due to a cardiac arrest, at the age of 66 years.
