An American actress, born in the United States. Amanda Duff grew up in Santa Barbara, California. She studied music at Mills College and went on to study piano in New York City. Duff was discovered by playwright Robert E. Sherwood in 1936, and she participated in various works, including Hotel for Women (1939), The Devil Commands (1941), and City of Chance (1940). She died on April 6, 2006 in San Francisco, USA.
