He is an American actor born in Dothan, Alabama, USA, on September 1, 1904. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 for his movies. He is renowned for The Vanishing Frontier (1932), Flaming Frontiers (1938), Rustlers of Red Dog (1935), and Flame of the West (1945). He was an accomplished baseball player during his studies, but after graduation, he shifted to acting. When he attended Dothan High School, he received a football scholarship at the University of Alabama. He died in Woodland Hills, USA on November 14, 1974 due to heart problems.
