An American actor, producer, and teacher. He was born in Washington, D.C., USA. He studied at the Tisch School of the Arts and Stanford University. He began his acting career in N.Y.P.D Mounted (1991). He is known for Carlito's Way (1993), Law & Order (1992-2000), and The Sopranos (1999-2007). He is also known for his work on Broadway and is a Tony Award winner.
