A French singer, born on January 17, 1944, in Paris. Her father was the director of a mechanical calculator factory. Françoise continued her studies and obtained her baccalaureate in 1960. She studied at the Sorbonne and learned to play the guitar, then she met singer and musician Jacques Dutronc, with whom she began a relationship in 1967. Françoise Hardy released more than 30 albums in French, English, Italian, German, and other languages. She participated in the documentary Oh Les Filles!.
