A German actress, born in Bautzen, Germany. She is the daughter of Sorbian parents. She intended to pursue medicine after high school, but after being turned down, she took a job at the German-Sorbian Folk Theater. She plays the violin and studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. She participated in many artistic works on the cinema screen. She is known for The White Ribbon (2009) and System Crasher (2019).
