An American actor, director, and writer, born in New York City, New York, USA, on November 21, 1937, as Kostas Tritchonis. He married twice and had one child. He is known for West Side Story (1961), Pajama Party (1964), The Evil (1978), and Quantum Leap (1993). Gus attended the City College of New York and began his career as an actor and dancer in Broadway theaters. In the late sixties, he worked as a director and presented many low-budget films. He then devoted himself to television directing and writing some scripts, and the last work he directed was an episode of the TV series 18 Wheels of Justice (2001), after which he retired and devoted himself to drawing oil paintings.
