Omar Samra is an adventurer, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. He became the first Egyptian to climb Mount Everest and the 7 Summits, as well as skiing to both the Geographic South and North Pole. Samra re-established the Marwa Fayed charity for children titled Toy Run, in memory of his late wife. Among his works is the documentary Beyond the Raging Sea (2019).
