An American actress born on the 5th of September, 1913, in USA. Burke began her career in short films. The former model worked in broadcasting, performed in theatre and participated in a competition held by Paramount. At the age of 15, Burke moved to Chicago with her parents and worked as a dentist's assistant. The following six years hold her most successful films which include: The Last Outpost (1935) with Cary Grant, and The Lives of a Bengal Lancer (1935) with Gary Cooper. She retired at the age of 25 and died on April 9, 1980 in Chicago, USA.
