An American actress born on May 19, 1914, Brooklyn, New York, USA, who was accepted in a drama training program in Eva Le Gallienne's Civic Repertory Theater company which got her to appear in her first Broadway play Girls in Uniform in the early 1930's. Her acting debut was in the film Two Against the World (1936). She's best known for her role in Warner Bros first Technicolor production God's Country and the Woman (1937). In the late 1940's, she appeared in several TV and radio programs. She died on July 13, 2009 in California.
