Tom Kennedy was born in New York City, on July 15, 1885, as Thomas Aloyisus Kennedy. He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, on October 6, 1965, of bone cancer. He is best known for acting in: Smart Blonde (1937), The Adventurous Blonde (1937), Torchy Runs for Mayor (1939), and Torchy Blane..Playing with Dynamite (1939). Tom Kennedy was an American actor known for his roles in Hollywood comedies from the silent film days. He began his career as a boxer, and during his brilliance as a boxer, he worked in silent cinema. He always presented roles that needed a huge body, or the roles of idiots, loved ones, or working class men. His film debut was the black comedy The Lamb (1915), and his last film was Bounty Killer (1965). Tom Kennedy has made more than 380 films and television series.
