In 2009, her film Okänd, kvinna 2009-349701 gained a lot of attention after she filmed a suicide attempt on Liljeholmsbron, the Liljeholm Bridge in Stockholm, during the film's making. She won two 2014 Guldbaggen Awards for her film The Reunion in the categories of Best Film and Best Screenplay. She also starred in two films presented at the Venice Film Festival, The Reunion and Amalimbo.
