A Finnish director, born in 1981. She obtained a BA in Sociology and Philosophy from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Arts in documentary film directing from Aalto University. She also holds a PhD in the Department of Film, Television, and Scenography, where her doctoral research focused on absurd strategies in art and documentaries. She is known for Gods of Molenbeek (2019), The Coffee Break (2008), and Talousennustajat (2015). She received several awards and nominations for her movie Aatos ja Amine (2019), such as a shared Jussi Award for Best Documentary Film and a Golden Lynx Award from the FEST New Directors/New Films Festival.
