An American writer and actress, born in 1968 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. She attended Nightingale-Bamford School as well as the Dalton School, after which she earned her BA summa cum laude from Yale University. Moreover, Isabel has an MFA in Fiction and Literature from Bennington College. As an actress, Isabel played leading roles off-Broadway and regionally in Beau Jest. Also, she appeared in many productions at the Williamstown Theater Festival. She is best known for Forrest Gump (1994) and Anything But Love (2002).
