An Italian actress, writer and director, born on December 26, 1914 in Pesaro, Italy. She married Sandro Contini Bonacossi. Her notable works include Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975), La sposa dei re (1938) and Sangue + fango = Logos passione (1975). She died on September 12, 1997 in Rome, Italy.
