An Argentine film actress of the Golden Age of Argentine Cinema, born on October 13, 1919, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Delia Garcés appeared in more than 30 films between 1937 and 1959, and from 1936 to 1966, she also performed on stage. Garcés received the Premios Sur Best Actress Award three times from the Argentine Academy of Cinematography Arts and Sciences, in addition to the Silver Condor Award for Best Actress from the Argentine Film Critics Association. She died on November 7, 2001, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
