A Canadian actress, born in Sudbury, Ontario. At the age of four, she moved to Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. She later moved to Prince George to attend the University of Northern British Columbia and pursue a Bachelor of Science degree. She also went to Victoria to sing and play guitar. While in Victoria, she became interested in acting. She won two Leo Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Maya in the series The Collector in 2004, and was nominated for a Leo Award for Best Lead Actress in a Feature Film for her roles in Firefight in 2003 and Durham County in 2007. In 2008, she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Television Series at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.
