An Iranian director, born in 1974 in Tehran. He graduated in editing and started his career making documentaries about Iran. He made his first short film in 1996, and worked for several years in the editorial department of Iranian television. He was nominated for the Crystal Globe Award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. His works include Sara and Ayda (2017), The Painting Pool (2012), and Felicity Land (2011).
