An American stage and film actress who appeared during the era of silent films. She was born on July 23, 1895, in San Francisco, California, to a prominent and wealthy San Francisco family. She was born and educated in Europe. She began her career in the mid-twenties of the last century, and won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6723 Hollywood Boulevard. Eileen Pringle's most important movies are The Wilderness Woman (1926), Soldiers and Women (1930), and The Last of Mrs. Cheney (1937).
