An American actress, born February 6, 1941 in Los Angeles, California. She was born to a French father, who fled his country of origin at the beginning of World War II, and an American mother. She started acting when she was just two and a half years old, when she caught the attention of director Mervyn LeRoy who cast her in Madame Curie (1943). She speaks French besides English and worked as a child actress in a number of films, including Green Dolphin Street (1947).
