Ian Keith was born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA on February 27, 1899 as Keith Macaulay Ross. Keith married four times and had no children. He started his career on Broadway, then moved to silent movies. His notable film roles include: The Ten Commandments (1956), The Crusades (1935) and Cleopatra (1934). He died in New York on March 26, 1960, of a heart attack.
