Carlos Thompson was an actor, director, and writer, born in Santa Fe, Argentina on June 7, 1923, as Juan Carlos Mundin-Schaffter. His most notable films include El túnel (1952), The Lady of the Camelias (1953), Mistress of the World (1960), and A Matter of Resistance (1966). He committed suicide on October 10, 1990, in Buenos Aires Argentina, at the age of 67.
