Edward Gargan is an American Actor, born in Brooklyn, New York City, on July 17, 1902. He married Catherine Conlan (1938-1964) and they had no children, and she remained with him until his death. Among Gargan's most notable roles is playing Detective Bates in the Falcon film series, including The Falcon's Brother (1942), The Falcon and the Co-eds (1943), and The Falcon Out West (1944). He died on February 19, 1964 at age 61.
