An American actress, born on December 21, 1966, in New York, USA. Her mother worked as a psychiatrist in New York City. She has three sisters. She graduated from Saint Ann's School in 1984 and from Boston University in 1988. Also, she attended Alvin Ailey School. After graduating from university, she studied at London's National Theatre. She began her artistic career in 1989 and is known for Blindspot (2016-2020), Star Trek: Picard (2020-2022), and The Glades (2010-2013).
