A Brazilian jurist, former federal judge, and politician, born on August 1, 1972, in Maringá, Paraná, Brazil. Sergio Moro served as Minister of Justice and Public Security from January 1, 2019, to April 24, 2020. He was also appointed a federal judge in 1996. He earned a doctorate in State Law from the Federal University of Paraná. In 1998, Moro attended a summer course at the prestigious Harvard Law School. He appeared as himself in The Edge of Democracy (2019) and Cercados (2020).
