An American actor, he was born in Washington, District of Columbia, on June 1, 1908. He married actress Eve Phillips. His notable films include: Detective Story (1951), Chain Gang (1950) and The Law vs. Billy the Kid (1954). He died in Los Angeles, California, on June 27, 1957, aged 49.
