An English actress, playwright and screenwriter, born in 1978 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. She studied international politics at the University of Birmingham. While working as a director, Jones met Phoebe Waller-Bridge and they became friends while working in theater productions. The two founded and became co-artistic directors of the DryWrite theater company. In 2013, Jones directed the stage production Fleabag. Some of her works are Run (2020) and Killing Eve (2018).
