Don Alvarado was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, on November 4, 1900, as Joseph Ray Paige. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 for his film career. He was married twice and had a daughter. He's known for East of Eden (1955), Rebel without a Cause (1955), and A Hero of the Big Snows (1926). Alvarado died of cancer in 1967 at the age of 67.
