An American singer, composer, and director, born in 1978 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Her mother was a journalist and her father was a special effects engineer in the film industry. She attended Wonderland Avenue Elementary, Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES), and Cleveland High School in Reseda. She earned an MFA degree from Yale University. In New York, she worked as an assistant video and performance artist. She is known for The Lives of Hamilton Fish (2013), Circus of Books (2019), and Singularity Song (2017).
