She is a Mexican actress, born on November 22, 1971, in Tampico, Mexico. Her sister is producer and director María Fernanda Suarez. She attended John Malkovich's acting school in Chicago. She studied theater at Illinois State University and received a Jean Scharfenberg Scholarship. She has also obtained a Steppenwolf Theatre Acting Fellowship Award. She is known for The House of Flowers (2018-2020), Capadocia (2008-2012), and Sexo, pudor y lágrimas (1999).
