Senegalese actress, born in 2000 and was raised in Thiaroye, a suburb of Dakar, Senegal. She did not get a regular education from school. She started working as an apprentice tailor in Thiaroye. She had not acted in any drama before being chosen for the lead role in Atlantics (2019), directed by Mati Diop as her first feature film.
