Nigerian-British actress, model, and radio presenter born on 31 August 1972 in Liverpool, UK to Nigerian parents. She began her career as a model in London before moving to New York City. She appeared on the covers of several American magazines, especially Essence. She studied at the Actors Studio in Los Angeles and was discovered by British director Tony Kay, who cast her in many of his advertisements. She is famous for playing Liberty Walker in the series Footballers' Wives. Other works of hers include the series The Bill, Nip/Tuck, Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NYPD Blue, and The Unit, as well as the films The Forsaken (2001) and Happily Ever Afters (2009).
