An American actor, comedian, dancer, and singer of Swedish-English origin, born in Moline, Illinois, USA. He worked in Las Vegas shows, Abbott and Costello's stage act, the Broadway theaters in New York, television, and commercials, and presented singing albums. After graduating from high school, he volunteered for the army and spent his first year in the artillery, and his second year with the Special Services, where he entertained the soldiers. He also won a talent competition in the army, which qualified him for television work, and he was able to take lessons in dance, ballet, voice, and acting at Falcon Studios. Among his notable works are The Cat from Outer Space (1978), F Troop (1965-1967), and Eunice (1982). He married dancer, writer, and actress Jackie Joseph (1960-1976), and they had a child who died as an infant. They adopted two children, and their marriage ended in divorce. He died in Burbank, California, USA, on December 1, 2018, from heart complications, at age 85.
