American actress and writer, born on September 2, 1968 in Lake Orion, Michigan, USA. Prior to enrolling at the Boston University School of the Arts and graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she studied at Macomb Community College in Michigan. She earned the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1998, for her role in Guiding Light. She is known for Lost (2005-2010) and Video Game High School (2013-2014).
