Iraqi actor who was born in the city of Nasiriyah in 1944. He started as a singer and reprised many songs by great actors. His first recording was in 1969 when he sang "Star". He is known for Hamad and Hammoud (1986), starring Shatha Salem, Suha Salem, Abdel-Jabbar Abbas, Ahmed Nehme, and others.
