She studied at Hollywood High School, graduating with honors in 1978, and then attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied theater arts from...Read more 1978 to 1981, before becoming a commercial agent. She studied privately with acting coach Harry Mastrogeorge for several years. She received her first professional acting work in the television movie Return Engagement in 1978, starring Elizabeth Taylor. She played most of the female characters in the television series South Park in 1997, and was the original voice of Timmy Turner in the series The Fairly OddParents in 2001.
