American actress, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on April 14, 1914. She was married twice and had 3 children. She started out as a model, appearing on the covers of various magazines. She was known for her roles in Western and B movies during the 30s and 40s. Her major roles include Colorado (1940), Heidi (1937), and The Three Musketeers (1939). She died of Lou Gehrig's disease in 2001, aged 87.
