A Moroccan film director, screenwriter, and producer, who holds a doctorate in cinema. He works as a professor of film directing at several university institutions. He is the manager of the Moroccan Centre for Cinematography. He entered the cinema industry through film clubs, working in multiple film studios since 1988. He worked in the film In Search of My Wife's Husband by director Mohamed Abderrahman Tazi, he also worked as an assistant director in the film Lucky Horses by Djilali Farhati and other films. He also participated in a group of training sessions that were organized by the Mediterranean Film Association in Fez. He has many critical writings. In 2007, he published the book 'The Critical Approach to Visual Discourse in Morocco". His works include Kilikis: The Town of Owls (2018), House of Glass (2011), and Androman - De sang et de charbon (2012).
